About The Project

MediBook is a B2B healthcare platform, in active development, that gives clinics and practices one system for appointment booking, patient CRM, and email automation instead of three disconnected tools. Patients book and reschedule directly against a provider's real-time calendar; every booking, no-show, and follow-up automatically triggers an AI-drafted email step, confirmations, pre-visit prep, post-visit follow-up, so front-desk staff stop chasing patients by hand. The CRM side keeps a full patient history, visit notes, and communication log in one record per patient, with OpenAI's API drafting and personalising the email content per practice.

How it works

From The User's Side

  1. 01Patients book directly against a provider's live calendar through a booking widget, with automatic conflict checking so double-bookings can't happen.
  2. 02Every appointment state change, booked, confirmed, rescheduled, no-show, fires an email automation step drafted and personalised by OpenAI's API rather than a static template.
  3. 03A built-in CRM keeps one record per patient: appointment history, visit notes, and the full email thread, so staff aren't cross-referencing three systems to answer a simple question.
  4. 04Practice admins get a daily view of today's schedule, confirmed vs pending appointments, and automation performance (open rates, confirmation rates) without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.
  5. 05Built on Next.js and Supabase, with the email automation and CRM layer designed to plug into a practice's existing booking flow rather than replace it wholesale.
