About the Project
Mud & Art is a handcrafted ceramic and pottery studio that Nexolve brought online with an editorial-quality TypeScript monorepo, a buyer-facing Next.js storefront and a studio admin portal sharing Shadcn UI components and Supabase schema types. Cloudinary serves optimised product photography; Cloudflare provides CDN and edge caching. Razorpay handles UPI, card, and EMI checkout; Nodemailer delivers order confirmations and custom order enquiry routing. Google Analytics tracks the conversion funnel from first browse to studio checkout, revealing which ceramic collections drive the most purchase intent.
How It Works
- 1
The pnpm monorepo houses the buyer storefront and studio admin portal as separate Next.js App Router apps sharing TypeScript types and a Supabase client; Cloudflare caches the storefront at the edge for fast global load times.
- 2
Products are photographed and uploaded via the Shadcn UI admin portal with Cloudinary handling automatic focal-point detection, ensuring thumbnails emphasise the most detailed, handcrafted part of each ceramic piece.
- 3
The buyer storefront renders ceramic collections with full-bleed Cloudinary-served photography, minimal navigation chrome, and a studio story section converting casual browsers into first-time buyers.
- 4
Razorpay handles direct-to-consumer checkout with UPI, card, and EMI, removing marketplace platform fee overhead; Nodemailer delivers personalised order confirmations and estimated dispatch timelines.
- 5
Custom order enquiries submit via a Supabase-backed form with structured fields for dimensions, glaze preference, and delivery timeline; Nodemailer routes each enquiry to the studio team for same-day response.
